Child Models Needed!
TFCD shoot with Love, Joleen Photography and Jenn Hoffman Photography. We have two more spots open at 3 pm in Long Beach. The shoot is this Sat. June 30th. We're looking for children ages 4-12 and preferably with an ethnic look, though any are eligible. If you're interested and available for two hours at this time and location then please email. In your email please include a snapshot of your child, his/her age and name and your contact information. We look forward to hearing from you!

Changes
I had a session with these girls on Saturday morning and it was *such* a pleasure. They were both so sweet and easy to work with not to mention just gorgeous. :)
There are some *big* changes happening around here. Most of you know that for almost 3 years now I've worked full time as a nanny. Beginning next week I will only be working two days a week. I am so excited to have the opportunity to do my passion - photography - full time. There are big things in the works for Love, Joleen Photography and I am really looking forward to it! The main reason for the big change is that my 13 year old sister, Jaydean, is coming to live with my husband and I. :) We have spent the last few months preparing, as best we can, for her move- which is this upcoming Sunday. It's going to be such a big change, having a teenager in the house, but Alex and I are looking forward to... most of it. ;)

I must receive your $50 non-refundable deposit within 5 days of booking your session to apply. Sessions are $150 for 1-2 people ($50 each additional). - We've added a new location to our Holiday Mini Sessions! Huntington Beach on Sat. Oct. 20th. There are 6 spots available! Read this post for more information regarding the sessions.
- Beginning in July, we're available for local (Coachella Valley) sessions Mondays + Tuesdays. These sessions will be offered at a reduced rate of $100 for 1-2 people ($50 each additional).
- We have three more weekend availabilities in July- Sun. the 8th, Sat. the 28th, and Sun. the 29th. We are now booking sessions for August and September! Sessions at this time can make a great alternative to traditional back to school photos! Email to make your appointment.

Fashion Inspired
I have always had a passion for fashion. I have vivid memories of this love dating back to kindergarden; images of my favorite outfits + accessories still fresh in my mind. In college I even tried my hand in fashion design. I daydreamed about owning my own boutique of fabulous goodness- everything I loved. It's not surprising to me that my photography has taken on a fashion-inspired edge. While most photographers encourage simplicity and tradition, I advocate trendy and contemporary styles. I love color, stripes, polka dots, and other bold patterns. I think fashion can lend a fabulous form of self expression and help set the scene for great portraits.
