  • “Thank you Joleen, for opening up our minds to the world of color. Without your visions we would not have ended up with these beautiful pictures. Your creative style is amazing. We never thought taking family portraits could be so much fun!” Kim M.
  • “Joleen arrived at our photo shoot ready with her bag of tricks (tons of fun props and toys) to ensure that my three children had fun during the photo shoot. My kids warmed up to her immediately, and the end result was natural looking, fun, playing pictures! Her ease with young children and her natural talent as a photographer resulted in beautiful, heirloom quality photos.” Leslie S.
  • “As a friend of Joleen’s I have been fortunate to see her work progress throughout the past few years. I have been fortunate to have her shoot our young daughter and family on more than one occasion and each time she has been encouraging, calm, and fun. The shoots have been very relaxed and enjoyable and the final product has been beautiful.” Heather B.

I have been itching to get in my studio all weekend. At the end of last week, between receiving the newest issue of Portals and purchasing a few really cool mixed media books/magazines - I've been totally inspired to get to work play. Since I am *incredibly* busy right now and really can't add making a big ol' mess, I've been playing digitally. One awesome thing about the printing company Love, Joleen Photography uses to print photographs is that they print in 12 x 12. This means I can completely design my scrapbook pages digitally and then print them out for my albums. I have the option to further embellish the printed version or leave it as is for the book. Not only that but how much money and resources am I saving doing it this way?! I can use my large collection of digital "papers" and elements over and over till my hearts content for free. Now that has Alex liking scrapbooking. ;)

Seriously, I wish digital would have come into my life before regular scrapping! It does prevent the mess and most of the money spending ;) Great job!

Those pages are great! I would definitely do this over the traditional way! Such a neater, cleaner, less chaotic way of scrapbooking!

You will have to show me how you do this someday.

Now, go back to work, oops I mean play :)

everything looks great and you have got me scrapping whole hog.. in my *spare* time...

I found your blog by accident on line and I just want to say that your pictures are absolutely amazing and you have truly inspired me! LOVE your photography and you are amazingly creative!!!
