  • “Thank you Joleen, for opening up our minds to the world of color. Without your visions we would not have ended up with these beautiful pictures. Your creative style is amazing. We never thought taking family portraits could be so much fun!” Kim M.
  • “Joleen arrived at our photo shoot ready with her bag of tricks (tons of fun props and toys) to ensure that my three children had fun during the photo shoot. My kids warmed up to her immediately, and the end result was natural looking, fun, playing pictures! Her ease with young children and her natural talent as a photographer resulted in beautiful, heirloom quality photos.” Leslie S.
  • “As a friend of Joleen’s I have been fortunate to see her work progress throughout the past few years. I have been fortunate to have her shoot our young daughter and family on more than one occasion and each time she has been encouraging, calm, and fun. The shoots have been very relaxed and enjoyable and the final product has been beautiful.” Heather B.

A Life Dream Fullfilled

(Uggggh, I hate blog issues that cause you to completely lose an entire post because the site is down since you logged on!)

I know it might seem silly or at least slightly overdramtic but the title really says it all. I consider myself an eclectic person and enjoy all most types of music but I've grown up loving Country. My favorite (of ALL time) Country music singer is  Garth Brooks and I was so, so  sad when he retired  before I had an opportunity to see him in concert.  Needless to say I was super excited to hear he'd be doing five charity concerts (in two days!!) to raise funds for those affected by the fires here in Southern California this last fire season. My mom was able to get three (great!) tickets for me, my sister Aimee, and herself and we went to his first show of the series last night. The first hour of the concert was recorded for CBS. I was bummed when I didn't get to record it because I thought it was playing tonight but it showed last night. That's okay because I was there- woohoo!! :) The crowd and energy were so ALIVE! The concert completely lived up to my dreams and I'm so happy and grateful for the opportunity to go!
