New Times, New Places, New Faces

I took this photo of my beautiful mother in law, Kellee, when she was visiting last week. This photo makes me so happy- such a special person to know. And, I bet you can tell, can't ya?  :)

Soooo, we're-a-movin', yes we are! Please bear with me over these next few weeks as we prepare to move back to Orange County. We'll be there full time beginning in June.

We only have THREE more dates available for sessions in May:

Sunday, May 4th
Thursday, May 22nd
Friday, May 23rd

Starting June 16th/ Our New Session Times:

Monday - 4/5 pm
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - 4/5 pm
Thursday - 9 am
Friday - 4/5 pm

Sunday - Off

*Please note that maternity and newborn clients can be fit in before the 16th*

I am so thrilled to be closer to most of you again! I'm looking forward to spending time with old friends and making new ones! I think it's going to be such a fun Summer of change. :)

I took my little(st) sisters out for a mini, mini session (for web photos like all the other cool kids) and ohmygoodness if I didn't come away with some beauties. Forget flowers, these two are the best subjects, I swear. And, I'm pretty sure that top photo is my favorite of Sarah. Ever. Hope you like 'em girlies!

I will be away most of the next few days as my mother in law will be in our home visiting. I cannot wait! We don't get to spend time with her often since she's out of state but our time together is always wonderful. I'm looking forward to long talks, laughter, and a relaxing time.

Hap-happ-happy Birthday!

... to my Mom (who verbally pinky promised not to look at my blog until tomorrow when I've given her this gift) (and if you do look, Mom, you're in BIG trouble ;) )! I created this mini book using April's Studio Calico kit - which I love, love, love!! It was such a fun kit to work with and I'm looking forward to scrapping a few pages with it, too!

Dear Peyton,

You are such a freak. We affectionately  refer to you as "The Spaz" because you're all over the place. We're counting down the days until you're old enough for puppy school. You're three months old and all puppy- curious and wild. You antagonize poor Spencer by rounding him up like he epitomizes a flock of sheep, all the while jumping and nipping. And, God forbid you attempt to get within a two foot radius of him when he has a treat! He's almost taken your head off on several occasions but you're still oblivious. Regardless of any attempts to stop you, you feel the need to squeeeeeeeze yourself under the kitchen cabinets every chance you get to see what kind of treasures you can find. You worm and wiggle your way out of arms holding you even five feet above ground. You pee on the bed every time you're allowed up and if we change the sheets and mistakenly let you stay you pee again to let us know you wanted that there.

Oh, but that look! You know the one I'm talking about. The absolutely endearing, sweet one you give with your adorable wrinkly face and huge eyes. You have such personality! And let me just say, you give the best kisses!

The Happiest Birthdays on Earth

Sunday I went to Disneyland with my sisters, my best friend, Candice, Alex, and his childhood friend, Brian. Even though it rained a short bit it was SO much fun. The great thing is that we went on 2fer tickets so in a couple of weeks we'll all go to California Adventure with the other half of our ticket. :)

Today I am 25! I had the most amazing birthday weekend with my family and friends. I have tons of photos to upload and scan (of the photobooth type) and will tell you all about it over the next couple of days! :) I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who was with me or sending me good thoughts!! I'm having the best birthday celebration!

Baby Bits + Being Blessed

How's that for a title? :) I just love baby parts! Details of all the rolls and curls are just so sweet. I thought I would share a few more photos of little Miss E. (I hope you like them, Tracy!)

I've spent a lot of time thinking about my life during the last couple of weeks and I feel so blessed. I know I mentioned it before last week- my feeling quite happy. It feels so great to have hope. Even as challenges are thrown my way, (and there have been many!) at my core I just feel so at peace. I *LOVE * my job as a photographer! I am thankful for a talent that blesses others. I was reading my devotional tonight and was so struck by the following verse:

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
